The Thinmetar author adds to his superb software a graphic complement of creation and a METAR download function.
What does this software do ?
It shows world map in a window and allows by the scrollbars to visualize
the flight plan area. We can also display its flight plan and ask automatically
either the weather of the aera crossed on the web, or create one randomly
fixing the parameters of the weather type.
The window attributes can be changed and the map can be enlarged.
How to use this software ?
1. Search METAR on the web : "Wizard" function and follow the menu instructions.
2. or creation of random weather by clicking on the "randomize All" button, we obtain the following map:
3. mark out its road and use the "Thinmetar" option to reduce
the weather observations to the flown over regions.
4. eventually, visualize the METAR created for every flight point in clicking
on top, we obtain the following window:
5. save automatically the METAR .txt file under Fly!/Metar or Fly! II/Metar.
InfoMetar has many use possibilities and a "Help" file which contains the complete documentation of the product.
