Well known alpine town, Albertville, besides its Olympic fame (who didn't hear about winter games?), is the crossroad and rail junction for all the Tarentaise valley ski resorts. It's situated in a magnificent valley surrounded by mountains with summits exceeding 8,000 (feet naturally!).

But, let's not forget the skies with this beautiful aerodrome at the edge of the Isère river, equipped with a 800m paved runway, but regrettably "reserved for home based ACFT and for ACFT based at neighbouring AD " as the VAC map says. Don't worry, Simvol got a permanent authorization: you won't be in trouble with the authorities. So don't forget to go there because Thierry did a very nice piece of work.

Be careful of the valley winds which can surprise an inexperienced pilot.

As usual with Thierry, the quality of buildings is a marvel and his scenery is full of details (go-cart track included).

Nothing else to say except that it's necessary to go there urgently, before the air traffic becomes saturated by all Fly!ers, to appreciate all the beauty of this aerodrome which fits in the magnificent alpine scenery and elevations respectively made by TJ and Béralex (2D Chambéry scenery which will soon go out).
