France le Pack! 2: Bailleau (LFFL) |
Yves continues his "real-virtual" tour of the Parisian airfields by allowing us to visit this one, located in the south-west of Paris, near Chartres (6NM in 237°).
Two beautiful grass runways of about 800m long allow planes and numerous gliders to fly around by avoiding, with their 100° difference, too important crosswinds.
As usually, all buildings are certified copies of reality, Yves making them one by one with this good old Binedit, phototexturing making the rest. Moreover you may judge realism with a real photo supplied by the author.
Warning:
- you are in Paris TMA 7 which puts you in class "E" between 3500 ft and FL055 (below it's free, above it's a strictly controlled class "A")
- auto information radio frequency 122.05
- high gliders activity
- specific runway circuit height for gliders (700 ft)
