Not far from Montpellier (096° and 36 Nm from its airport), here is a magnificent small airfield as we would like to have one near our home. Nestled on a splendid plateau at an altitude of 1,237 ft, it just has what is needed: a beautiful grassy runway slightly sloping, a hangar and a gas pump. Naturally the radio is in "auto info" on 123.5. And we are protected from the big platforms' movements by a continuous crest-line.

This airfield is worth making a visit in... PA19 or Cordouan: it is necessary to take all your time to admire all its facets (here viewed at some hundreds of feet). And look at as the approach is pleasant...
