Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne (LFLC)

This airport is the present from Doc to a ROTW Clermontois*, I let you guess which one !
* Clermontois: name given to Clermont-Ferrand inhabitants.

So we are now in Auvergne, land of volcanoes, thermal springs, and mountains with human size where walking is a real happiness.
Its capital, Clermont-Ferrand, is also a town known all over the world: it's the fief of Michelin, you know, the tires !

This airport, previously called Clermont-Aulnat, became in some years, a very big platform because it was added to the military activity (repairs for the Air Force) and to the Michelin's one, the start of the Regional's HUB. This company, franchisee by Air France, is incredibly active, be in the waiting room at about 5 PM, on weekdays, and you will be amazed with the number of destinations announced for boarding.

ROTW couldn't include this airport in its airfields "Tour de France". It's done ! Good stop at Clermont-Ferrand !
