A Norman airfield at last ! We were worried about this Breton abundance and about the absence of any installation in this beautiful French province.
Here is an airfield full of charm, located near the beach (it's just at the end of the runway 07) outside any control zone (be careful, you need to be very precise when you are in auto-information mode on the frequency 123.5 used by all non-controlled airfields).
If you're brave, the town of Granville is a 1/2-hour walk from there via the coast: it's a very nice port with a charming old part of town (and there are a lot of people during summer).
The scenery was realized with Allen Kriesmann's Terramodels and the library of Henri Coudeville (ROTW) (Henri_models.zip) which was also released with the latest version of Rennes St Jacques airport, as well as the Biber's libraries and the latest version of ROTW static planes supplied as a bonus on this page. The F-BOER followed us to realize this report and take the photos which accompany it.
Be careful: as taxiways of France are moved with regard to runways (it's an endemic defect of Fly! which isn't very precise with runways orientation), so it's necessary to have set up the latest version of the ROTW taxiways :France-taxi-f2_v3.zip.
