Another one nice airport from our beautiful Provence, Nîmes Garons, which has the characteristic to be a "dual purpose" airport, civilian and military.

It's an important air base for the French Navy with its Bréguet Atlantique (ATL2) for submarine detection (squadron 21F) and its utility unit (squadron 28F) equipped with Nord 262 and Xingu.

The military activity downturn had been compensated with the commercial activity increase: AOM establishment which had made of it its maintenance base. But further to the AOM-Air Lib affair, the activity of this magnificent aerodrome has been affected.

But for us, virtual pilots, we will have a big pleasure to include this stopover in our flight plans, the author having used for his realization buiding models of a very good likeness, and nevertheless coming from the Terramodels standard library.

You can thus park, as you wish, in the civilian part...

... or in the military zone.

By the way, if you are observers, you will have noticed, on the top view, the Rhone of our friend Jeck. Thus everything is perfectly linked.
