In his "southern tour", Doc came down to the southern most city of our contry. Thus his "pilgrimage" brought him, quite naturally, to Perpignan, the capital of the French Catalonia.
His unlimited admiration for Salvador Dali made me be afraid, one moment, of a modelling of... the Perpignan station, which, as you know, is the "center of the world". It's true, I went there !
