Falcon 16 |
Over time, new aeroplanes for Fly! II, will be available from Simvol and will start with an aircraft not very common in civilian simulator: the very famous supersonic American fighter light bomber the F16.
We offer this model more to play with and not for realistic flying.
All good pilots even virtual, should not restrict their his pleasure of flying to serious flying.
This plane was created by Roberto based on a dynamic model supplied by TRI and our friend Jean Sabatier was the "test pilot". Both were pleased of the result.
We had no experience with this plane and to ascertain its flying characteristic in Fly! II, we compared it with the Falcon 4 (version e-Falcon). The results were comparable for the model in flight when the Falcon 4 was set to "easy flight".
The controls responded in a similar way, the sound of the turbo reactor is very realistic. It is possible to make a sharp 90° turn with no difficulties.
This aircraft is unable to fire its gun or drop its bombs and the views in the cockpit are limited to the upper section of the instrument panel.
To conclude, this offering will give you the trill to fly at very high speed and very close to the ground. To keep aside for the days when you "just want to have fun".
Below some views of the F16, as seen in Falcon 4 in the left column or in Fly! II in the right one:
