ROTW: A "Moving Map" for your cockpit |
As had been announced on our projects page, our DLL and other modules programmer
has done it again : a simple but practical moving map for your panels showing
geographical features, which were not shown on Fly!'s virtual map, such as the
aircraft's position, coastlines, rivers, lakes and airports with the possibility
of using different zoom settings.
For time being, the map is shown in a separate window (this is just the first
version) but the essential information is already there.

Laurent had of course started by France but he seems decided to do the Rest Of The World ;-) as well. So here are a few other data files with his "moving map", ROTW 230 or the upcoming 350
WARNING : Always backup the previous "world_coast.dat" and "Rivers.dat"
in a into directory named according to the covered area because all the maps
use the same names !
1- The West-Indies
Save the files of the previous map (probably France).
Rename "caribean_rivers.dat" to "rivers.dat" in the Data
directory.

2- Alaska (coastlines only)
Save the files of the previous map.
Replace the "world_coast.dat" file by the one included in the package.
