Fly! II: the Beechcraft Staggerwing |

Most attentive had already noticed it in the page about Fontenay Trésigny, most elders remembered again because it always exists in the Fly!1/2k version, here is it, it is arrived in Fly! II and it is no longer a project: it is the famous Beechcraft Staggerwing.

Of course, it is the same author, our 3D specialist Jean Sabatier who polishs up us this surperb machine. Simvol had already shown the gear kinematics in the Fly! first version page , it is always so superb to watch.
Superb ancient panel (leather and wooden) but actual instrumentation (not EFIS, let's not exagerate, it wouldn't be necessary to waste the aircraft !).
Icing on the cake, Jean created a view which simulates the
pilot position bend on the left side to see where
he puts the wheels in rolling, and where is the runway in short
final (but yes it's true !).
And, again a new, the propeller rotation where we see
pass the manufacturer logo: superb effect !
But let's not say too much of it, discover yourself this beautiful biplane aircraft
and classic gear (what results in: be careful in rolling).
Here it is over Rennes for a "discorery" flight which
allows me to feel the reactions of this beautiful bird.

Fly! II: the Beechcraft Staggerwing D-17S |

The Flyeurs often regret the lack of hydroplane in Fly!, Jean decided to realize the "floats" version of his famous Staggerwing.

Again a very beautiful realization, the "coat" being the one of the original which belongs today to Paul McConnell, replica of D-17S which was based in Alaska in 1941.
