ROTW aircraft division: the EADS Socata TB10, the travel light aircraft for aeroclub

by the following ROTW team: TJ, Jean Sabatier, Laurent Claudet, Leen de Jager

TJ, great specialist of the Socata aircraft, had this TB10 planned for a long time. His numerous alpine sceneries in development don't allow him to realize it as quick as he would have wanted, but, with the help of his usual colleagues, that's it, here is finally in a first version with a basic avionics quite classic in aeroclub.

Several test pilots took part in its adjustment which was a little longer than usually, first of all because the parameters of the flight model were not simple to coordinate (Laurent's job), but also because our testers become more and more demanding.

Let's pass to the outside views, always with a superb graphism, "TJ's style":

Then by starting from the standard view of the panel (the first one on the left top above), we scroll down to obtain the following views:

Of course, all the levers and diverse buttons work, the experts of the TB9, TB10, TB20 (retractable gear) will recognize it immediately.

And, as always, there is one (in fact two) little extra.
1- The first one is inside the cockpit: it's, for the first time in the ROTW aircraft, the possibility to switch off all the breakers to stop (and restart) a certain electrical part of the aircraft. The two views above show the breakers panel in low position (all work) and in high position (all in same time, I don't wish to someone in flight). Another little extra on this view: the lever to unlock the door works.

2- the other "bonus" is outside: it is with the "Alt" + "F10" keys it gets down to work:

Yes, it is the opening of the 2 "butterfly" doors which can be controlled with a Dll written by our friend Laurent.
In conclusion, a little night view:

And some technical features:
