ICAO coding of US airports

by Azzurro (ROTW)

Strangely, Fly! "forgot" to attribute an ICAO international code to thousands of US airports (exactly 3599). The databases only provide FAA codes (a US system, not used internationaly).

As utilities like VolNav only use the ICAO system, it was difficult to find our way between all these airports coded as "KZ".

So here is a DEX file correcting this omission, it attributes to all the US airports an international code.

...and here is the result in VolNav !

Example of the region at the west of Boston (MA) :
Before, many airports are coded as "KZ", therefore they are difficult to identify.

Avant

After : now, all the airports have an ICAO code. It is easier, isn't it ?
