Laurent, as each one knows (or doesn't know), it is the "DLL man" of ROTW. It is one of his great specialities with the adjustement of the flight models of our various planes.
Did you use his cameras (see the pages about the PA19) ?

Here, we present you one of his numerous projects: program some traffic around our flights, not random, like TRI, but in making follow a flight plan with takeoff and landing from a choosen point to another choosen point.

To give you an idea of the possibilities of this tool, we provide you here a pre-version (warning, we are on a project not finalized) with the explanations allowing to program some traffic.

For those who, like you, will find all that a little complicated, Laurent provided an example which uses of the following way (summary provided by Didier Rigault of ROTW):

Place:
- AI_TRAFFIC.DLL in Modules/PC
- AITRAFFIC.POD in Aircraft
- TRAFFIC.BGL and TAXIPARK.BGL in Database (create the folder if missing of Fly!)

Then go to KEUG. Change the hour of the simulator and adjust on 5.29 PM (imperative). You must see on the vectorial map another plane, normally a Cessna which takes off in 5.31 PM. If you use the "V" key you will be able to follow it.

Of course, if you wish to program your own traffic flights, then you must go further in the reading of the document (.doc) provided by Laurent.

With the version "d" delivered the 04/10/2003, Laurent provides us three complementary files:
- AI_TRAFFIC_V3 makes available 8 supplementary generic planes
- AI_Bonanza, adds a Bonanza
- coordinates_V2 allow to obtain decimal coordinates

The version "e" of 04/22/2003, adds the following elements:
- improvement of the position on the parkings and taxiways
- numerous departures and arrivals on the KPVD airport for the example

He chose "SFO intl" to show the extent of the possibilities of his DLL.

As he says it: it is to "activate vocations". Let's see what it is !

Few images, especially text, here is summarized what is characteristic of this new addition to AI_traffic. The reading of the readme.txt is... impressive !

A remark: only English flyers seemed to react and use this incredible work of Laurent: does it too technical for us, poor French ?
Anyway, Laurent waits your questions on the forum with impatience...
