Supplementary camera for the Flyhawk, the Bell and the Stearman |
This camera is really in the beginning of his development and serve especially for presentation: theoretically it should allow to have the sensation of moving of the pilot's head in the cabin ! You will see for the moment all of this is static (as well as we can turn the head and adjust the view height), but the tests with shift effects have been made and the impression is really striking.
For the moment the ideal aircraft for this camera are the Flyhawk and the Stearman where we can add the Bell:
the 4 arrows allow to do the adjustments.
NB :
- for the camera: the dll go to .../modules/pc
- the IntCam.txt file in the modules folder
- the cameras.txt file can replace the one existing in the data folder or serving for demonstration to complete his own cameras .txt file.

Interior camera for the Piper PA 28 Warrior II 161 |
Here is an Laurent's "invention" which allows to see the cabin as if we were inside the aircraft. In fact, the camera simulate the head of a passenger and allows to find himself in the interior of the 3D model and appreciate the textures: spectacular in turning, beware to don't feel dizzy !
Just for fun ! Triing to have different sensations.

Supplementary camera: a runway camera |
This camera is the Fly! II version of which Laurent developed for Fly! 1/2K.
It is a mixing between the tower and observation camera provided by default in Fly!. The point of view is placed in the threshold of the runway, either in the height of the groundl, or the one of the aircraft. We can of course "zoom" the aircraft.
You can modify your file /data/cameras.txt to add this line: rnwy,Runway
Camera,1
Don't forget to increase to 1 the value of the digit in the beginning of this file.

Supplementary camera: moving camera |
Here is a new observation camera: it resumes the way to follow the aircraft from the tower camera with an important advantage: we place it anywhere compared with the aircraft (in its horizontal plan), besides we can move it at any moment with the indicated keys below:

You must modify your /data/cameras.txt file to add this line: move,Moving
Camera,1.
Don't forget to increase to 1 the value of the digit in the beginning of this file.
The effect is gripping and allows to simulate, for example, the eye of a controlled aircraft... pilot. Here are several views taken with a camera placed in the air which follows the going past of the aircraft:
