One must wonder what 3D software creators use to carry out the incredible 3D achievements which one finds in the world of Fly! simulation. It is even more true when it comes to the creation of dynamic objects (complex 3D object with moving parts), and more particularly the planes of Fly! which are of an extremely excellent quality. There are various 3D modelers and drafting packages. Some are free like Zmodeler or TrueSpace 1.0, others require purchase and sometimes are extremely expensive mostly because the software is part of the high-end user market. 3D Studio is one such product and its variation called 3DSmax, useless to most start out alone and without any knowledge, because of its steep learning curve due to its complexity. Reference and training Booklets exist in the computer section of most bookshops which try to explain the possibilities of the program, but little really makes it possible for a beginner to start from there. However, 3DSmax is the reference today and almost all the planes which you will find in Fly! were conceived with it. With ROTW, our intellectual guide you in terms of 3D model creation for planes. Jean Sabatier, wishing to share his experience, concocted us true tutorial for this 3D design program solely for aircraft creation. Thus, Fly.Simvol offers this tutorial so you too may take advantage of it. So, if you want this very bulky and complete document, you will have to download the 5 following files which will take up 52 Mb total. The files are in MS Word format. Put work modems to work ! |
