In Fly! II, you can program the keys of your joystick from the menubar command: Options / Keys & Buttons. In the window which opens and in "Category" choose "Cameras keys".
Normally we can only affect one time a key (including the Chinese hat).
The following view shows the origin programming (for me) !
But I discovered we can affect the same button for 2 different uses (cockpit and exterior cameras). Anyway for Chinese hat.
The 4 lines "panoramic camera" concern the moving of exterior cameras and the 4 following lines, the moving of the cockpit camera (interior).
Origin programming
Correct procedure:
1 - Remove the Chinese hat programming for the 4 panoramic cameras and the 4 cockpit cameras in selecting successively every line and in clicking on "Clear button" button.
Clear the keys programming of Chinese button
2 - Program the 4 cockpit cameras (the 4 lines in the bottom) down, left, right and up with the diagonal keys of Chinese hat of the joystick:
down left
down right
up left
andup right
in selecting successively every line and in manoeuvring the button corresponding of the joystick.This programming is only temporary !
First programming of the cockpit camera keys
3 - Program the 4 panoramic cameras (the 4 lines in the top) down, left, right and up with the keys:
down
left
right and
up of the Chinese hat like above.
Panoramic camera programming (exterior)
4 - Resume the programming of the 4 lines in the bottom (cockpit camera) with the keys:
down
left
right and
up of the Chinese hat like above !
Normally that doesn't clear the programming of the 4 lines of the top and the Chinese hat control the moving of the interior and exterior cameras with only 4 positions. Moreover, there is a correpondence between the button direction and the moving camera (Button in left -> moving of the camera in left).
The camera choice (intern or extern) is expected from origin with the "C" key.
If, in step 4, the programming of the lines of the top clears in spite of everything (that arrives me), you must resume the procedure. The below view shows that works for me !
Definitive programming of the cockpit camera keys
As a free gift, it remains the 4 diagonal directions of the Chinese hat we can use for other commands. If the above procedure was already the subject of an article, I apologize and precise I don't saw it.
