Didier, active member of the French group the most famous of the world (of Fly!) turned round to the Fly! creation with a database and .DEX files for Fly!.
This tool provides in a window under Windows, all the elements of all articles of the database or the export file analysed.
In every article, every element is named in clear, its values are displayed. A double click on a lign and the input form very detailled for this article of the base displays in an extra window.
Vol!Edit allows thus to modify them, to remove them, to add news, to search an article on this "unique key" (well known of the "databases do-it-yourselfer" of the ROTW team).

Of course, you must take precautions, every action, once validated, modifies the departure file (a little saving is always required).

The editor is provided with a tutorial (HTML format) which allows to do his first step without risk.

Here is a screenshot emerges from the edition of a .dex file for the "Comm.epd" database.

It is a superb tool which allows to free from these DOS windows which fills Flyedit.

The version 1.1 brought the same possibilities under Fly! II and under Fly!: .EPD file processing containing databases without "bursting" them with PodView, direct searching of an airport on its OACI code, automatic connection to DBimport (Fly!) or the new DexImport 1.2 (Fly! II) which allow to remove recordings (Vol!edit can mark them for the deleting).

Concerning the version 1.13, it is a bug reported on the English forum concerning the input of certain values which is corrected.
