Since a few time, I don't know why, the airport building creators are interested by this software which has been conceived for car... simulators !
Quite simply following the announce of Fly! II and the information concerning the structure of its "Model" file: the SMF format (report to the "Projects" file "Fly! II" article) which is the format of the 4x4 Evolution software.
Jean Baruch discovered for us, the "Flyers' conceptors", Zmodeler which is presented here.

Indeed, this utility allows:
    - to read .BIN files and their .RAW and .ACT textures ("Import function"). Pictures above show you the result with a building from Annemasse V3 and the Laurent Claudet's DR400
    - to create and modify these files in .Z3D internal format
    - to save ("Export" function) files obtained in .SMF format

Of course, the product being a complete tool of 3D conception, it has many others possibilities you let to each one the care to discover.
A free version is available on the net with a documentation file reducted and a tutorial which allows you to exercise you to build a ... BMW !
